Latest 2020 operational update

  • Guluyambi Cultural Cruise on the East Alligator River will recommence operating two days a week, Tuesdays and Fridays, from the 1st September 2020. There will be four departures per day at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
  • At this stage we have no plans for scheduled Arnhemlander 4wd Tour departures in 2020.
  • Hawk Dreaming Wilderness Lodge will not be operating in 2020.

Wet Season Notice

All indications are that we are about to experience decent or above average wet season rain between now and April 2021. KCT intend operating the Ubirr Combo Tour from late February to early April 2021 conditions permitting. We are prepared to take tentative bookings for the Ubirr Combo Tour between the following dates; 15th February and 15th April 2021. Meet Aboriginal artists at Injalak Arts & Crafts Centre in Oenpelli. There is time to watch Aboriginal people painting & to see the women weaving pandanus baskets.

Travel into the Mikkinj valley with its stunning scenery of billabongs, wildlife & towering escarpment. Enjoy lunch beside the Inkiyu Billabong.

Travelling in comfortable 4WD's with forward facing seats, you will experience the region's world-famous landscapes consisting of sandstone escarpment outcrops, rock art sites, forests, floodplains & billabongs with birdlife.

Note: Injalak Arts & Crafts Centre is regularly not available on weekends & public holidays & may be closed for cultural reasons. As an alternative the tour will visit the exclusive & spectacular Cannon Hill & Hawk Dreaming region of Northern Kakadu National Park. The Kakadu National Park pass fee is not included in this product.
